Goosebumps! I read all the books throughout year 5 and 6.

And then when it came out on channel 10 as a teevee series! Oh boy! I didn't own a video recorder at the time - so my grandma taped every episode for me and delivered to my house the day after for several repeats.

Animorphs contained one of the most complex and beautiful narratives even seen in a children's series.

Imho, the Chronicles are some of the finest examples of Young Adult Literature ever seen...The Ellimist Chronicles is a must read for every person under the age of 18.

Hmm perhaps you are correct. But i skipped teen fiction and started on adult when i was 11 or 12, which is probably why i thought of animorphs as rather lame. Conclusion: i was a pretentious 12 year-old wanker.
