A group of us have just paid our deposits with unleashed 09, to go to beachcomber island, its crazy how early you have to pay!
Anyone else going in the first week, or already been?

I got back a couple of hours ago.
The drinks are insanely expensive, so stock up on duty-free. Good if your underage (they don't care if you're underage or not), but I wasn't and enjoyed it anyway. The food is so-so, but it has a really good party atmosphere.

I loved it and would definately go again.

Me and 6 other friends are going next year!!
I agree, its rediculous how early you have to pay. We paid our deposit in october but they just put our prices up yesterday 100$ extra. i didnt think that was legal once you had paid the deposit, but obviously not.

We are paying $1930 for 7 nights at Beachcomber for the twin rooms and we are going from the 12th til the 19th.

When are you going??

Yeah, the price raises are crap. I mean, it's only $80, but that pushed our total price to over 2 grand (that's for a triple bure but).

haha yeah thats the same week I'm going. It sucks that we won't be able to get hsc results until we get back, but I guess its good in a way. Gives me less to stress about.

Hey what are the dates for the first week? is it in november or december?

Week 2: December 5th - 12th
Week 3: December 12th - 19th

Yeah at the airport. The legal age is apparently 17, but even if it isnt its not like they check ID.

Hola ppls! me and a couple mates are heading to this increasingly attractive little island in december as well, do any of you know about the weather around that time.... everything about the island looks friggin sweet but most of the reviews ive seen of it are for the july/august period...
