Hated it. Leonardo DiCaprio.
'Nuff said.
It's funny how many people now say that they hated it...

It was the highest earning movie of all time...(ignoring inflation)

Its true. It was hot stuff at the time. I ahted it but at my school one girl alone saw it 11 times (in the movies and then probably had 2 copies in case one died or something stupid  ) another 6, etc. I only saw it on video and thought it was stupid. But I hated Leonardo's hair. So yeah. And I didnt like Kate's voice.. I think Kate is a fine actress, but I am yet to be convinced about Leonardo..

Ewan McGreggor and Will Smith were both offered the role of neo but turned it down...

Back to titanic, i refuse to beleive that i am the only one who actually liked one of the most sucessful movies of all time...

Well it's a small forum. I suppose (just a guess) that someone out there must like it.

Leonardo DiCaprio is a very good actor. It's unfortunate for him that Titanic left him with a pretty boy image, because he's really more than just a pretty face. At.. 30 (?) he's already had some great roles and been nominated twice by the Academy. That's not something your average Orlando Bloom can do. Scorsese endorses him, and after The Aviator it's not hard to see why.

As for Titanic.. I'll vote neutral. It's not the greatest romance of all time as it was touted to be by teenage girls around the world 10 years ago, but it's not without its power and charm. It's better than the current favourite "The Notebook" by some distance at any rate.

I find it hard to hate a film:( Although it is not exactly the greatest film ever, i enjoyed watching it when it was on tv a while ago...

It's not that i don't like leonardo dicaprio, it's that every time i see him i think of him as Arnie in what's eating gilbert grape...

And wow, it's been 10 years already?!
