For a BIOL1003 lecture that I have from 5-6pm, I saw on the central timetabling unit that there is a 'via Lectopia' session from 5-6pm. How can I be allocated to that?

Does that mean I don't have to attend the lecture, and just watch it online?

damn, i got excited and rushed to MyStudy to check out what the fuss is all about.

but I did get a hold of the centralized timetables. I was hoping for that day off on either Monday or Friday, instead I get this weird mid-week break of possibly Wednesday and Thursday.

It always goes offline at night. It'll be back later today.

ok question:

on monday of o-week im going into uni to get special permission forms for both CHEM1903 (coz i got invited to TSP after i had already enrolled) and HPSC1900 (coz i wanna do the advanced version instead), right.

so currently im only enrolled in MATH1001, MATH1002 and BIOL1001, which all appear on my timetable fine (coz i dropped CHEM1901 and HPSC1000 via myuni thinking i could enrol in CHEM1903 and HPSC1900 online, lol)

but on that link Rafy posted with all the subjects and how many students are enrolled in them, the HPSC1900 lectures are all overflowed. does this mean i wont be able to do HPSC1900 and ill be forced to choose another subject coz there are too many ppl already enrolled in HPSC1900???

if so, FUCK!

See the department for the room ;)

what subject is it/when is it running?

I had a subject time with no room last semester, because it was a day trip type thing and not an actual class. could it be something like that?

I'm taking 30 units though I'm considering dropping a subject. If I drop it, do they just remove the lecture and tutorial from my timetable and I get free time or do they reallocate my whole timetable ?

i think you just remove the classes you dropped, i dont see why they would change a whole timetable.

Yeah, I think it would be like that too. Though, do I go to the student centre to drop the subject and get my timetable fixed or do I drop it online ?

no idea about that but i wud think you would go to ur department, i think i remember vaguely you had to give it in writing that you wanna drop a subject and your dept will do it for you.

Hmm, seems awefully tedious but you got to do what you got to do.

Also, I finish at 6 pm on one of the days and I want to change my timetable around so that instead of finishing at 6 pm, I finish at 4 pm. I've worked something out that suits me. Does the student centre allow this change if I bring the timetable in and ask for mine to changed to that ?
