Agreed. Base is one of them connecting things between the strands of the double helix so I'm quite sure it's not base. Plus DNA is part of a chromosome so a section of DNA cannot contain a section that is a chromosome. Hence, I put genes.

What did people write for the geological jelly. The question were it asked you why there wasnt any jellies on the bottom layer?

I wrote that there were no life forms there in that period or conditions weren't right for organism to fossilise

i think it meant unit as in a unit that could exist on its own.
we looked in my friends science book and she had
an atom is the smallest unit of an element.
so im guessing atom was right and electron was wrong.
i put electron because i thought of unit as a measurement as in electrons have a negative weight and are smaller then protons and neutrons. how dissapointing.
