the country has over 300 million people living in relative comfort and peace, people go there to seek work because they lack the facilites in their own country

other countries look to the US for strength and advice
it has one of the highest GDP's for a country, arguably the best military and technological power in the world

it is a multicultural society, has a brilliant government,despite what the media thinks and is one of the most culturally diverse nations
