I know what you mean.
Ultimately, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Some may think a person is amazing, while for others, it's not really their cup of tea.

But I do think a universal indicator of beauty are the eyes.

Gr. My eyes are a bland dark brown. Nothing interesting about them.

Hahaha, it's not about the colour, it's about expression, plus brown eyes are beautiful. And hey, people don't necessary voice themselves when they see somebody they think is attractive, they just make a mental note in their mind, even if it's a simple passer by.

From what I read, I'm both ugly and attractive, with a good personality that no-one would go for.

Who over-emphasize on petty issues, use unrealistic phrases to cajole partner, tries to dominate in a relationship are turn-offs for me.

• Consistent boasting and showcasing of intelligence (ie: someone who always talks like they're writing a thesis or knit-picks on little things)--I'd rather date a humble moron than an arrogant genius
• Someone who only thinks with logic, and not with their heart...someone who isn't willing to take chances and likes doing everything the traditional way
• Clinginess and obsessiveness--consistent phone calls, saying "I love you" way too soon and acting as if you're the world to them.....unless you've seen eachother for years and feel the same way, it's creepy, not sweet!
• Hair that can be put into a ponytail--you're a boy, not a transvestite
• Someone who tries too hard to be funny or cool
• Someone is afraid to be stupid and let loose
• Someone who is monotone
• Non-talkative...consistently responds with one-word answers.
• Melodramatic
• Temper
• Does not like animals and shows little if any sympathy towards them

As for the eye debate....I also find brown eyes too common...they're not a turn-off, but they're not a turn-on either. I love blue, green and hazel eyes...any color that just pops!
