Glebe!

Nice houses, nice shops, nice people. Walking distance to the city, close to Broadway, walking distance to central. Easy walk to Newtown which has good food.

Gotta love the fact that my friends think the places they live (Carlingford/Epping area) is better than the Lower North Shore. Come on.

Probably Chatswood. It's convenient, safe, lively, good location (close to city) and of higher socio-economic status compared to most other suburbs.

Yeah except north-west sydney is a bastard to get out of (esp to the city).

I quite like Brighton. Moved here a few months ago and I love that I have restaurants and the bay a short walk away, and the city is so close so it's easy to get to uni.
