My MX1 class only has 11, and all of us could have done MX2 but only 3 chose to do it.

At my school the top kid in 3U was the only one who wanted to do 4U so he had to convince others to do it so he could get a class running.

Wow at my school they only recommend MX2 to the top 5 MX1 students. And you'll probably call my school dumb, but it's top 200....so not too shabby.

Yeah... my teacher made hard tests so she said 80% but by the last test she knew our class of 10 MX1 students well enough to know who would do MX2 and her last test was hard so the kids that got 74%+ got in.
I got 78%.
but I had been saying since year 7 that i would do MX2
Ask your teacher, they will tell you.
My teacher said 80%+ in her tests from the start and i got: 64%, 56%, 81% and 78%
And our MX2 class is a big class at our school with 4 students, the class above us had 3 and they said that was a lot.
But our MX1 class is small with 8, they usually have 15ish.
Btw, my school ranked 120something this year.

ruse is like top half, so perhaps 80-90 students?
and baulko is similar, top half of MX1 cohort; last year, there were 96 admission spots into 4U

on the other hand, school like mine can have only one class, and it's not allowed to have more than 20 ish ppl. for my grade we had 12 students doing MX2, with 4 of them dropping, now we have 8... who knows who else will drop..

If you're moving onto yr 12 in yr 11 then you should be able to get in easily, unless you're in the higher ranked schools. If you don't get in, PM me (that's if you remember in 3 terms time)

Yeah, but everyone doing MX1 gets a E4 in MX1 and a band 6 maths and everyone doing MX2 gets a E4 in MX1 and MX2
