We don't own a dryer either. Everything gets pegged in my house hold.

Mostly women with kids. They go through a lot of clothes and tend to get a bit lazy with other commitments. Also people who live in units/apartments feel as if there is no place for them to dry when a fold up line takes up less space in a small place than a dryer.
