the thing is, you fuck, is that if you don't like the way the country is going it doesn't necessarily mean that what's occurring is the wrong way. you either use your noodle and astutely voice your concerns and try and make a change, or you move the fuck away, OR you kill almost 100 people and irreparably damage your cause *forever*.

I already know how this sounds, but there is still logic to it. What is happening, not just in Norway, but all over Europe is disgusting. He's brought attention to something that is of up most priority. Astutely voicing your concerns does shit all, its just like Australia. What he did was terrible, i know that but those young people were the future generations already in support of such bullshit, turning Norway into a socialist shithole. What the actual hell? There should be no discussion about understanding why he did this etc.!!! Over 80 young people were slaughtered in cold blood! And people were killed also in the centre of Oslo. This is a tragedy of massive proportions! How can you empathise with the shooter??? Can't you think of the absolute fear of the people on the island and their relatives? The disbelief and absolute pathos of your kid dying on a summer camp they'd looked forward to? It's awful with one, but this horrible torture is played out for over 80 families.

People seem pretty disbelieving that a Christian could be a terrorist, but hello, crusades anyone? Seems like they can ignore the part about tolerance pretty well.

Pretty interesting all the people who are happening to understand his tact are right wing. Hate of a particular system is never a reason to blow people to smithereens. Norway is one of the highest HDI countries so socialism is obviously not a failure. You know what the non sociopaths response is? You have your vote, and you just have to deal with that majority rules! And you have to be tolerant of other people, as much as I disagree with some things, I still tolerate the people who believe them. If there was more tolerance in the world, there would be less issues.

I know I am an absolutely terrible person for saying this, but I hope he feels terrible for what he does, every single day of his life. I hope he's disgusted by himself and can't live with himself, but is too stupid to kill himself. He should suffer for such a terrible thing he did.

Another man has been detained by police outside the hotel the survivors were taken to, probably in connection to the reports of a 2nd gunman on the island.
Some saying he smiled as he was put in the cop car.

u ppl need to get over this batman logic where criminals and such all deserve human rights and we shud just keep them in a cell when we catch them. if batman just fucking killed the joker and every other bad guy he caught he wouldnt have to be constantly protecting the city from them.

this is why when this shit happens u make an example out of the person responsible. this way, in the future, terrorists will be like "fuck bombing ppl, i dont want to turn out like that other guy that got caught; better find a new career"
