Went against the most hardcore awesome, fair payload team tonight; 2 demomen, 2 pyros, a medic (with full uber) and a sniper. =D

Sorry for the necropost, but I felt we needed a TF2 thread up again seeing as it's all F2P and shizzle.
Anyhoot, I'm a pub player, but I do enjoy TF2 very much.
Anyone else play regularly?

Yeh, got one hundred and something hours as sniper, usually bow but I don't mind rifle once in a while.

~20-25 hours as all the other classes

Havent played for about 2-3 months cos I had to redl half the game, might play for a bit now actually.

Used to play lol.

Mostly played engineer as it was easy to sit back, relax and get lots of kills. Especially fun when rushing to the other side in 2fort and planting a base inside theirs or very nearby.

Sniper as well, was easy to get lots of kills but repetitive and got boring.

Pyro to practice my axtinguisher skills.

Soldier if i felt like demolishing people (black box is so good).

Occasionally played spy as it's quite entertaining messing with engineers.

Didn't really play any of the other classes.

I only ever use the Huntsman on sniper. It's so rewarding!
The day the Strange Huntsman comes out, I'll be first in line to get one.
Sniper isn't one of the classes I really use alot though.

I used to play spy quite a bit, but then got sick of seeing Saharan spies left and right.. I was no longer an individual LOL.
Then by the time I got back to vanilla spying, I was bored of it.

Pyro is fun. I love reflect kills more-so than anything else in TF2. Practicing flare gun kills atm. I know the shotgun is better.. but meh.

Demoman is a class I main.. but I've gotten sick of it.

Scout feels very rewarding when you play it properly. I love the feeling of flanking and harassing a team.

Medic is current my fave class.. just hit 800 kills on my strange Ubersaw today. 111 kills on my crusader's crossbow now I think atm.
People tend to love me as medic because I gain ubers so quickly and don't pocket like a little biatch. LOL

Soldier.. only non-default I'll use is the equalizer (why wouldn't you).
Engineer is my most disliked class.
Heavy is meh.. I just play it when I'm lazy.

Yeh but by that point the vast majority of people who bought it had got their moneys worth out of it.

I think the micro transaction faggotry fattest wallet gets the best items is infinitely worse.

It's not that bad..
You're really only worse-off in the cosmetic sense.
We'd all quit TF2 if it hindered actual gameplay.. which it did at once stage (spies couldn't mimic unusual effects)

Yeah, I guess.
I do get annoyed knowing there's folks out there spending big bucks to obtain Unusual hats and such.. but at the same time.. I feel great, seeing as they're spending real money on a bunch of pixels.. and I'm spending the same amount buying REAL clothes.

Then again, there are those which can simply work the trading system, and have made $500+ worth in items, only ever paying to get premium.

I've put over 150 hours into this game, and yet there's a part of me that hates it. I've pretty much quit it now, I found that the game play was just too flipping fast for me, I didn't;t have the reflexes or the patience to play the classes properly.

I was like that initially in '09.. putting in just over 170 hours.. then I came back after a while when it was F2P and just got absolutely hooked.
I ended up loving the fast pace for some reason. I just found it so dynamic.
What really got me into it was the Demoman. That area dominance is a great feeling.
