Just to compare how we are doing financially with people similar to us please put:

your age, money in bank and assets, your area of study, loans and any jobs you are doing.

I'll start off.

Age: 21
Money in bank: ~$3000
Assets: ~ $1000 computer and various small items
Area of study: Science (chem and biochem)
Loans: HECS uni loan ~30k by the time i finnish
Job: nil.

PS. i need to quit :monkey: ing around...

Money in bank: Money I have access to directly is around $500. I have money saved up somewhere else in a high interest account, but I don't know how much is there.
Assets: Er.....I think most things are owned by my parents, technically. I have my BlackBerry, a pretty expensive watch that was a gift, but not much else.

Loans: Nil - I pay upfront.

Money in bank: $0.00 (Recently spent $5000 -.- sigh in my hsc holiday trip to Korea.)
Assets: ~ $1000 labtop, $1500 computer, few textbooks and my clothing wardrobe.
Area of study: International Studies (International Business)
Loans: HECS loan around 30-40 grand.
Job: I am a voluntary tutor for about 3-4 students at my church.

Assets: Car (worth ~$3,500, which I paid $700 for including rego - win), 2009 MacBook Pro, various recording gear (microphones, mixer, keyboards, guitars, monitors), 1922 Weber Pianola/'Player' piano.
Area of study: None at the moment, but completed; Entertainment and live theatre & events.
Loans: No idea where I stand with FeeHelp, $500 to each of my parents - Centrelink claim I owe them ~5k - in process of disproving this now.
Job: Telemarketer.

Below the poverty line ftw... Don't end up like me.
