What is your school rank?
And how bad are you doing?
Do you really need a 90 atar? I would not REPEAT. Why waste one whole year again?

No, don't repeat. If need be, get entry to a different uni degree with a lower ATAR requirement and then just transfer into the degree you wanted at the end of the first year.

Your school rank is good, you are so lucky as to that many people probs get 90+. Pull your socks up and game face from now on for 90+ ok?

You're probably going to need to be in the top half of your cohort in order to get 90. The median ATAR at 50th ranked schools (given the cohort is 100+ students) is around 90, so at a 100th ranked school, it would probably be in the mid 80s. Don't repeat though. Why do you need 90 ATAR? Does your preferred course require 90? Have you checked for alternate paths if you can't obtain 90?

Or could you get bonus atar points?

Maybe, but we don't even know which uni or which course the OP wants, so even bonus points may not even be applicable. We don't even know which subjects the OP is taking.

Agreed, repeating is such a waste of time. Also, as D94 said, you would need to be in the top half of your subjects at least to have a shot at 90.

+1. Please don't repeat. A bad ATAR (even if you get one) isn't the end of the world!

Repeating is stupid.

Think about this. You spend another year at school, whereas you could of gone to tafe/low atar uni subject and transfer later

That's not true.

@OP - Don't worry about it sweets, just do your best. If you don't get into the course you want then go for a course you can get into, do it for a year before transferring. You can probably use the units you already completed as your electives for the degree you want to do.
