Haha the idea IS to study within your own groups and to invite any students too (be nice please).

Aren't we allowed to study by ourselves? I'm so awkward with people :(

Then that defeats the purpose of the day.

The idea is for students to collaborate and work together/develop social skills.

I need someone to sit next to me and slap me when I get offtopic/distracted
I will oblige to slap you regardless of whether you re offtopic/distracted or not.

But in all seriousness just sit with the more serious group(s).

But I don't think there is much I can contribute to discussions...

Just stay home then..
I am not going to stay by myself for the whole day! I am going to talk to people (even though I am a bit awkward with people) but in regards to study, I like to study by myself :)

I totes see his/her point though. S/he might want to study by his/herself and then ask questions if s/he gets stuck or something.
Exactly right :)
