So I didn't know where to put this question so I think this is the right area to put it...And it's a bit random but does anyone know where to buy compressor bars for binder folders in sydney? I mean like shops because officeworks doesn't sell them and my old one (which a friend gave to me) broke...

I'm sure you will definitely ace it

And yeah, I can't wait to drop my shitty subjects and start MX2 next term.

However I have band rehearsals at 7:15am twice a week, two more MX2 morning classes means that I have to go to school early 4 times a week Plus it takes me an hour to get to school anyway.

How many people usually do MX2 at your school may I ask?

At my school, usually about 4 or so people, however this year has 9 people doing it, and I think my math cohort is better than last year's one, so Im guessing we will have around 9 people doing it too. I find it weird that some schools have like 2 classes of 4u heh.

lol my school has 3 classes (only lets the top 72 people in each year)

Sydney Boys High is the god of 4U, 120 people haha

Small class sizes are really effective though, I'm jealous

Oh wow thats alot of people heh. But in my school, there is a very low number of people who make it to 4U the 'normal' way, most of the people who do 4U at my school are pretty much 2U and in rare cases 3U accelerants. But I already have a very small 2U class as well though (5 people in one class for only accelerants).

EDIT: I have a feeling that Im not talking about y11 stuff enough.

Ahh nice - does your school offer acceleration in anything else?

My school has 3 4U classes. Around 70 start off - ends up with ~50-55.

I suspect that my grade will have 2 classes with a total of 48 people.

Nah my school only accelerates in math, but Im actually one of the last people in my school to accelerate 3U as the curriculum head decided not to continue that program anymore (2U acceleration of course is still going).

ah nice, so you're sitting the hsc paper this year?

how long did it take you to finish the 2U and 3U course may I ask? Seems like you will have excellent foundation for 4U then!

I started the HSC 2U and 3U course last year at the start of term 4 as an official class. I did the preliminary courses in the first 3 terms of last year. (When I was in year 10) Since the accelerated course at our school started acceleration in year 9 where you learn year 9 and 10 stuff.

So yeah I will be sitting the HSC paper this year, and Im going to sit CSSA 3U trial on Friday heh.
