Hey guys,

Out of pure curiosity, as I often gave others ATAR estimates and what not. I was wondering, if you got an estimate on BOS, how accurate was it?

Don't think you will get 99 but very close to it ~ 98.70+ ... 98.5-99.20 ... 97 ... 98

So it wasn't very accurate, but i think its because the people at the top of my grade were beast lol.

That's a relatively accurate estimation.

Relatively. I was capped at 99.20 as the upper boundary by one and at 99 by another lol

Yeah, later on in the year, especially in Chemistry and Physics, I saw that you were very strong at those subjects - made me expect 99+ from you...lol.

I was estimated mid to low 99s, ended up with 98.65. That being said, I think the estimates would've been accurate if I'd actually kept up the same work ethic during the leadup to the actual exams.

I had a thread last year and some guy used my ranks and what not to estimate a general range of what i'd get in each subject roughly and then put it into an ATAR calculators. His estimates in each subject were all off but he estimated ~88 and i got 88.05. Throughout HSC i would play with ATAR calculators and check out raw mark database etc. and i'd also managed to predict 88 myself during the HSC, but the HSC results were distributed differently to how i'd thought lol.

I was estimated at around 93 (one I tried was 93.05) at I ended up getting 94.65.
I think this was because Biology and Legal scaled well, but I guess we will have to wait and see the scaling tables that they usually release.

I'd say around 87-92. Your English isn't helping me give you a higher estimate.

^ You gave me that estimate in May (after half yearlies), I ended up with 98.35

I mainly got 95-96 estimates on here after trials, one person said low 90's...
Aysce said 97-98, in with the closest... you legend.

If I had posted this up before, what do you guys think my atar estimate would have been? I want to compare it with my actual atar. I didn't ask for an estimate because I was scared the results might have stressed me out and affected my performance.

Wow. I'm so glad I pulled myself together in term 2 because I knew english and chem would have dragged me down.
