BOS are unpredictable

teacher was saying one will most likely be labour market reforms (She made the hsc paper few years ago), one will be on Policies, another can be on economic forums blocs etc, and one on BOPs/External stability i reckon

I think it may be on the enviro ( e,g carbon tax) and policy limitations... becoz it's pretty relevant. Or maybe something relevant to the mining boom... Hmmm

CAD again most likely as it was done so poorly last year (but then again that's what BOS want us to think, so we study the hell out of it and doesn't even show up).

Fiscal/Monetary/environment/exchange rates

Exchange rate and Macro policy would be a God send. I hope no CAD or external stability, wish I studied for economics :( I am most probably going to fail

What does the CSSA paper have to do with the HSC?
They try to predict what the hsc will have in it.

It makes sense though, Australia's exchange rate has been a major issue for the last year, and remember they wrote the paper a few months ago.

Yeah I went to a lecture and Ross Gittins was talking as well as another Senior HSC Marker and they both think that with the trends in the exchange rate, there'll be a question on it in the exam.
Hoping for exchange rates, labour market or environment, and fiscal (I can only hope though probs not likely)

Just got something today from a friend :)

2013 predictions for short answers:
- Eco growth
- bop/cad
- enviro
- globalization case study

Extended response predictions :
- effectiveness of macro ( probs focus on monetary)
- international org/trade- role in globalization and inequalities in economy
- exchange and impact
- labour market and micro reforms
- and maybe enviro via fiscal policy or micro reforms

Thank me later ~,~

Pretty accurate I think because they predicted the case study to be a choice in 2012 and voila , it happened...
