Hey everyone!
I was just thinking of this myself so I thought, why not start a thread ? Share what you hope to do in the future, your career goals and ideas about the future, even which subjects you most enjoy in school! I'll go first:
I really enjoy English, it is my favourite subject however in the future, I wish to pursue a career in Medicine. Preferably I want to become a surgeon specialising in cardiology, I know it's a huge goal but I'm willing to work haha :)
Can't wait to hear everyone's thoughts!

Hi there! :)
My favourite subject is Maths, but Music is a damn close second. I am aiming to get a Bachelor of Music Education at USYD. It's the only career I could see myself being in. :)

My favourite subject is probably biology - I enjoy learning about how the human body works. I am considering doing nursing, however knowing myself I will probably change my mind. I considered medicine to become a doctor but realistically, I don't know if it's the right path for me.

Good luck with your studies :)

That's so cool! I wish I was talented in music as I love to listen to it :) I love how you're so determined, it's awesome. Are you doing the HSC in 2015? If so, you should join the thread I made for this Years grade 11!

In theory I'm in year 12 this year, but I'm doing pathways, which means my HSC is spread over 2 years (3 courses 1 year, 2 the other). So I'll be graduating in 2015.

I've always been interested in nursing, so I did my work experience at a hospital and I loved it! Sometimes I think about doing medicine, but I really enjoyed nursing so that's what I'm aiming for :)

My favourite subjects are English, Maths, Science, and History (hence my subjects for next year, I can't pick a favourite!). I am absolutely determined to pursue Mining Engineering at UNSW.

Do any of you feel the way I do? There are so many careers that are 'oversupplied', i.e, too many graduates, not enough jobs, that I am seriously lost. There's a low demand for a specific job, but what will the case be in god damn 6 years when I graduate. Ugh.

Anyway, I was thinking about specialising in family law, but I also have interest (slightly influenced by tv shows) of becoming an obstetrician? UMAT looks like absolute hell though, I don't think I could go through that...

Legal Studies is the subject i like the most at the moment, closely followed by business studies and senior science . Right now i'm wanting to get into macquarie uni's Laws and International Relations degree and ideally my dream job would be becoming an immigration lawyer.

My fav subject is Maths and i want to work at McDonalds full-time after high school :)
Mate isn't that aiming a little too high for yourself? I mean McDonalds is a place where a large variety of skills interplay to create a professional team member. It's a lifetime commitment. Are you sure that you are ready and committed to taking this on?
