So i know this a topic regarding whether tutoring can provide you with a higher atar or not but want to know through experience of someone that has gotten an atar of 99+ without tutoring.

Yah, man - got 99.90 without tutoring last year, and know a considerable amount of others who scored over 99.0 without tutoring, also.

Honestly, you just need to take it as it comes. Focus on doing the best that you can on every single assessment, rather than thinking, like, 'I MUST GET AN ATAR OF [whatever]+' all the time, and don't freak out when not everything goes exactly how you want it to. Almost everyone has a few disappointing assessments. Also, this might sound rather trite, but having a really well structured study timetable well in advance helps tremendously...

Do you know how all those Asians who's parents just didn't make it in thEir homeland and try to live out their dreams what they missed out on by telling their children they have do try and make it and tell them what they are going to be when they grow up.selective schools are for kids of poor immigrants. Asians at private schools say the selective school kids are the poor of their community. They can't afford to send their kids to a decent school with modern up to date facilities with specialist teachers. This year the students doing the international bachalaureate ( only available in private schools) MLC burwood got 8 students out of the NSW's top HSC score.they beat james ruse who only got 4 or 5 students who got top marks.so the new international bacalurette is meant to have a few more subjects and gives credits for uni too. The SMH reported that IB Students have a a rate of 22 times more chance of getting a top ib mark than the hsc course. Do research and see for yourself.oh, and they are mainly Caucasian getting top score.so all those Asian run tutoring colleges are not giving you high enough marks.all they do is mark write or wrong and never show you how to get the answer.if you ask the Asian colleges how to work out a maths question the uni student teacher just sits there on face book and tells you to work it out for yourself.a lot of time wasted and money for never been shown.just doing tick and cross that's it.

Yes.

For the usual questions:
Engl Ext2, Maths Ext 2, Latin Ext 1, French Cont.
Practical exercises instead of cramming, plus regular exercise with a healthy dose of vengeance on the side.
No, my parents are not Asian tigers.
