noMedicine is for those who genuinely love helping people. Not for those who are interested in the high income
Yes
I can't speak for anyone else but myselfWhy do so many people want to be doctors, am I missing something?
For some people, probably? It is quite a decent pay, my doctor charges medicare $60/visit (excluding GST). But money should never be a motive for medicine. Is it the money?
Not for the first few years, I guarantee you that. Residency, internship, registrar is quite hellish, and people call some of the hours, zombie hours. Even after if you stop at GP and decide to practice like that for the rest of your life, you're going to meet people that are quite annoying, those that demand medication after a quick google search and they think they are better than you despite the 6 or 7 years of uni you've done.Is it enjoyable? ?????
You sound like a cleaner. And people do need more than 1 doctor when you have multiple comorbidities.there is some people who have a strong big heart that really wants to help people from heart not like those cunts going for the income because guess what at the end of the day, you want take money with you when you die! It is the respect your earned helping people as a doctor! People around the world need one doctor who can truly help not 100 doctors when they don't know shit and can't help properly!
SO those who are going for the money, fuck up and change your career options to cleaning! this is a suitable career option for you,
what's wrong with being a cleaner? You sound like a cleaner. And people do need more than 1 doctor when you have multiple comorbidities.
noThey say they want to help people but inside they're all in it for the money. Put it another way, if their salary is reduced to 60k/year would they still be doctors? I highly doubt it. People need to understand that we are HUMAN and greed is a natural desire. So stop judging lol. That said, there are those doctors who are truly passionate and would supposedly grind through the long hours and intense studying to "help" people. I doubt that there are many though. We can't all be Mother Teresa.
Just my 2 cents.
also agree with this. They say they want to help people but inside they're all in it for the money. Put it another way, if their salary is reduced to 60k/year would they still be doctors? to put it simply, If all the jobs in this planet would have the same pay, i'd still choose to pursue med because i genuinely think that the job satisfaction you get out of med is unlike any other.also agree with this.
why would you spend 7 years at uni +training after for 60K a year?
Lol SR wants to be a cleanerwhat's wrong with being a cleaner?
