I was going to go for co-op because actuarial was the main thing I wanted to study, idk if I regret that though. Well, I do really want to try out advanced maths now.

Yep got an interview for finance and banking
I missed out lol. Oh well, was expected I suppose with pretty much no extra curriculars.

if the marks are that close, this will be taken into account when determining your HSC assessment mark for a course

that's why your school submits your marks, not ranks, because BOS looks at not only your rank but the distance between you and those around you

If you have middle range ranks in decent-high scaling subjects but you do really well in the HSC (say 85+ raw), what would your ATAR look like?

Depends on your cohort. You could do quite well :)
