AHAHAH took them a few years

started accepting when i got 50% for my prelims, briefly held hope as I began to average 80s in internals in Year 12, finally accepted when I didn't do my trials 🤣
yes its a gradual but steady process

just constantly lower their expectations

until they eventually give up

=them going harder with the other sibling ;)

It just died on you without any warning? That's pretty scary. Are you sure the screen wasn't fading or there wasn't any other indication of low battery?

I use:
  • Primarily Casio fx-100AU PLUS 2nd ed
  • Also have my old fx-82AU PLUS II normally in case first dies
  • Also have TI-30XB Multiview for surds (well worth the $30 to do surds way faster for the few questions that require them), was useful in prelims, not expecting it to be as much this year
