Since the ferris wheel question seemed to bog people down, I wouldn't be surprised if something similar shows up this year. I haven't seen inverse/direct variation in a while so I expect it might come up. As optimisation has mainy been seen in geometric contexts since the start of the new syllabus, I'm assuming we'll likely see an optimisation problem which is something else besides from geometric problems. And also, probability; I'm thinking there will a KILLER question on conditional probability will come up.Anyone got any rough predictions for this years maths advanced paper?
ppl have actually been predicting a more statistics heavy paper with a 7 to 9 marker question on financial mathsSince the ferris wheel question seemed to bog people down, I wouldn't be surprised if something similar shows up this year.
