My last exam is Art on Wednesday, and on Tuesday I'm trekking it all the way to Terrigal to see my favourite author, Paullina Simons. Talk about priorities...but I honestly do not care anymore.
I picked up Legal Studies, 2u maths and Biology at the beginning of year 11 -- I dropped Bio within two lessons and changed to Hospitality and dropped down to General maths in term 3. At the end of year 11 I dropped Legal and Hospo, and half way through year 12 I dropped maths all together...
To get into Art Express would be absolutely fucking amazing. I put so much time and effort and spent SO much on my artwork, gah.
Question: do they send us our BOW marks with our ATAR or before?
I didn't really study. The School Certificate means nothing if you're staying on to year 12, and it's really not that difficult so you don't really need to. However it's much nicer seeing the band 5's and 6's on the papers they send you instead of 3's and 4's, no matter how insignificant the...
Went for my daily 50 minute walk...I have no patience for gyms. I need to be physically moving instead of just walking/running on the treadmill for example, it's just so boring and monotonous.
Argh. This makes me so angry. Yes, they might have made some valuable points, but they ignored what the frigging question asked! This way, they get an equal, if not more, chance of getting a higher mark than those who actually stuck to what was asked. That's what gets to me.
I wish I did Classical Greek! That would've been amazing. I did Modern Greek continuers + extension and the exams were pretty good, especially extension - I was surprised by how easy it was. Unless I was totally off and got it all wrong lol.
There were only 12 in my continuers class and 3 in...
I'm going to burn/throw out notes that I've written + printed/handouts/photocopies and sell my textbooks and study guides.
Except for my ancient books. I wanna keep those. :P
I'm really stuggling for this...and I've lost all motivation. My case study is JFK and I feel pretty okay about it, I got 21/25 for it in the trial, but my major concern is the historians. Haaaaate these questions, but the trial question was pretty good, I have to say.
Also I don't know which...
I think what many people are forgetting is that not everyone is the same; what may work for someone might not work for another. Some people excel learning just techniques and ideas and going into the exam room and pulling out fantastic essays out of their asses, while others do not...
I want to do a Bachelor of Design at COFA, UNSW. It's cut off ATAR is 88 though...so I'm pretty much pushing my luck lol. Graphic Design is my ultimate aim though, so if I don't get in straight away I might start at Tafe and then transfer in.
I'd also like to do Journalism, more specifically...
November 11th, Visual Arts. Gonna run through the school screaming with joy, go get my drivers licence and then party the night away, haha. And then sleep sleep sleep.
Conflicting Perspectives was by far my worst out of the three. First off the question really sucked. It was my last essay and I ran out of time, I barely managed to finish my first supp. text, The Crucible.
I hated this module the most from the very beginning. Julius Caesar was so boring...
Our topic was NK Egypt to the death of Thut IV, I did the Nubia question too. Firstly, what the HELL? It was an absolutely ridiculous question, it threw everyone off! I cannot believe they asked such a specific question without even giving a better option b. Queens, seriously? You cannot write...
