it depends, just double check with their respective handbooks, but from what I remember, if u do the combined degree, i think u can major in 1 each i.e. 1 from commerce and 1 from arts. Where as if u did straight commerce, u can have 2 majors in commerce i.e. accounting and finance.

Yes, the books are prescribed books for uni, unless they have changed them this year. BUT in the link that u gave me for the unsw bookshop, the micro book is the same as the one i have now.
Also i am selling the ECON1203 books, I have recently updated some prices, so have a look.
