Hmm not sure if it's worth the hassle just to do SCIF1121 instead of SCIF1131 :/, any other options besides doing a subject in summer semester?
Also, I'm not sure if I should do MATH1131 or MATH1141?, I think it recommended a MX1+MX2 combined score of 175 or above, mine was 172 but I screwed up...
Ok so I'm doing Advanced Science first year, and probably (at the moment) want to major in something like microbiology, but am also interested in neuroscience.
So at first I was planning to do MATH1131,PSYC1001,CHEM1011 and BABS1201 in my first semester but I also want to do SCIF1121 which...
Do you think I'm going to have trouble in first year because I haven't done HSC Chemistry/Bio and I plan to probably take Chemistry 1A and Bio as well at uni? And I should definitely stay away from the advanced units for these subjects first year because I haven't done the HSC subjects right(I...
I didn't even do any science subjects (well I did Physics but didn't turn up to quite a few classes and didn't care about it at all) mainly because I thought the HSC syllabuses were really shit and now I'm going to be doing Advanced Science at Uni lol. 1st year is going to be tough for me but I...
Hey, I would really appreciate if you could send me those notes as well. phoenix9333@gmail.com. Considering doing those units so would be great to have a look.
Thanks!

I was just wondering something about the BSc (Adv), do you have to do any advanced subjects in the first year? or is it only in 2nd or 3rd years you have to do a minimum amount of advanced subjects (at least 12cp in 2nd year and at least 24cp in 3rd year?). I was always under the impression you...
I'm thinking of doing this degree but I got 94.95, so 0.05 below the current cut-off but I got E3s for both MX1 and MX2.
The flexible entry requirements/info say this: Mathematics Extension 1, PLUS Band 5 and above for HSC Mathematics (2 unit, not General) AND
Band 5 and above in at least TWO...
IMHO, there is no way you would get those HSC raw marks you stated (Except, perhaps Standard English) looking at your marks and ranks for School. Right now, probably ~84, need to really pull up pretty much all your subjects especially English and then do really well in externals.
