You can go to any school and still achieve a high ATAR. Your ATAR is dependent on your performance in your internal assessments and the external HSC exam. As long as you maintain a high standard in BOTH aspects of the program, you will do well. Consequently, if you are ranked highly within your cohort and your performance is on par within the external exam, your results should be pleasing.
