yeah, not much difference in employment opportunities between the two degrees, because the degrees themselves are quite similar.
ultimately your programming skills, experience, personal projects, technical interview skills, clubs/societies etc will be much bigger factors than your degree choice

Hmm you're right, I just checked and yeah 36UOC (you can only do max 24UOC per sem). Did they recently change it?
I was sure on going into B Science and transferring second sem, checked online and loads of people had done similarly.
Regardless, you can still do second semester core subjects...
Best to pick up B science UNSW (around 80esh atar), and transfer to compsci after 1st sem, cos you'll be doing same subjects as a normal compsci kid (B Science is uber flexible like that).
Then, after a sem of compsci, transfer to a double degree? Not sure if you can do that, but I do know elec...
