The University of Newcastle offers BMed, rather than the MBBS offered by other Australian Universities.
Can someone explain whether "BMed" is just a name or whether it actually results in a different course?
Thanks.
English: 93
Maths: 89
Science: 93
Geography: 89
History: 97
Computing Skills: 98
As I said in the other SC topic, Geography was a big surprise. I'm thinking my essays saved me there because my skills have never been great.
I was actually really happy with all my results. Yeah, it's a bit...
Re: 2008SC SC Results ~
Got my results last night:
English: 93
Maths: 89
Science: 93
Geography: 89
History: 97
Computing Skills: 98
I was pleasantly surprised at Geography and really happy with History :D
All A's, which is great. I'm not *bad* at sports and luckily our practical assessment is based on effort rather than ability :haha:
Presentation night is tonight, and then we get our School Certificate results (finally!)
I will be doing very little, and actually enjoying my last set of massive holidays before prelim/HSC.
I'll catch up on eating, some TV shows (such as Iron Chef! :D) and some reading also.
<3 holidays.
As shown in my sig I chose Biology when Bio and Modern History were on the same line. Now that I think about it, I'm not sure that I've made the right decision.
I have interest in both subjects, so that's not really an issue. My question more relates to those who have taken/are taking either...
Personally I was choosing between Ancient History and Drama for a more relaxing subject, something to take the edge off Chem and the like.
I went with Ancient, because that's where my passion lies. I know that the Modern History course is very full on based on what I've heard.
It may depend...
The other option in that question was that the cold helps light to refract better, or something like that.
I went with pollution personally.
Does a medium star follow the course or a large or small star? Does it expand or contract.
I have a feeling it was expand, but I'm not sure.
I won't miss Geography, but I did like my teacher.
Aside from that, I've enjoyed year 10. My year has really come together at the end, probably due to the school only going to year 10. We all want to finish on a good note.
I agree that there are lots of people who think themselves smart shit...
Korea was a UN-sanctioned war; I don't think the UN was in support of Vietnam.
I said that the first statement was true and the second false, as the people assembled were opposed to conscription rather than the war itself. Aside from that there was a sign which seemed to imply that they...
I honestly didn't feel too bad about that question. I did recycling and said that:
1. Recycling water involved methane release into the atmosphere.
2. Sanitation plants require fossil fuels to run.
I liked one of the answers that my friend gave-that increased water containers means that...
Exactly what I put. Basically the drama of a stormy sky/whatever she described contrasted with the hot and relaxed nature of the farm.
This section was definitely the hardest; I was expecting multiple choice to be difficult but it wasn't.
What did you guys put in the MC question about lines...
Most Loved: I enjoy all of them, really. Probably English/History the most.
Most Boring: Maths. I don't mind it, but Maths is the only class where I get a little comatose sometimes.
Most Hated: Geography. Skills to be exact. I like the theory/long answer questions in Geography.
Yeah, the multiple choice for that was the most ambiguous I've ever seen. It's pretty daunting to have a question where all the answers seem to be right, not just one or two.
The SC English questions are a lot easier than any trial I've seen. I think the school runs them to try and scare us...
