Go to open days for UNI and try to ask as many questions as possible then =)

Modern history = MAKE ESSAYS ON THE 'LARGE THEMES' basically make every essay you can possibly think of .. our teacher made our class do this and we had over 9+ band 6'es in a class of 30 =)

And as for rates I paid him $30/hour but I'm not sure if his rates have increased since then :)

Definitely studying your notes first :) Also make essays for major themes and get your teacher to mark them! (I did this for Ancient)

The school is irrelevant if you're good at self-study. You can't be too highly dependent on your school , do your own research/work IMO.

I graduated in 2011 with an ATAR of 99.15 and received after school tutoring from Official (99.85) As he accelerated in 2unit (99) and 3unit (98) in 2010 I asked him for tutoring in 3 units of maths in 2011 and can honestly say he explains complex concepts in a way that is simplistic and easy...

pro ! There are circumstances that would warrant it for sure , if you're not ready to have a baby it's best to have an abortion anyway as opposed to keeping it for moralistic issues.

You can still get jobs at UWS , it's just UNSW/USYD/MAQUNI/UTS will look more competitive in comparison to say UWS , ACU , Notre Dame etc :(

Past papers , revision of syllabus notes and practicing every possible textbook question :) I found that for the humanities , if you could memorize the dotpoints/provide a lot of in depth information from your own findings , you're bound to do well!

Last year there was a multiple choice that had 2 answers..

Doing past papers for legal wont help - its a new syllabus and the structure for crime +human rights has completely changed , not to mention they abolished Law and society.

God it would suck for people who didn't do the specified speeches/essays/poems , but maybe BOS just wants everyone to know they're serious about the whole learn 'every speech/poem/essay' etc etc :l

I know! Urgh but there wasnt anything to really do anyways , revise notes - sure but overall you'd have forgotten it close to half yearlies/yearlies anyways -.-.;

you can not. but you can do the 1 year intensive HSC course at TAFE .. :)
