Hey guys, I was just wondering for economics ( specifically the case study essay) what is the best way to structure paragraphs, because I’ve been receiving a lot of mixed responses and I feel like PEEL is just too vague 😞
- I’m also not doing China, Indonesia or Brazil so looking at past essays...
It’s basically the same thing. I can’t think of any differences except maybe evaluate might involve a more explicit opinion whereas in assessing you’re evaluating factors?………… nah they’re the same, I stand corrected 😤😤😓
Hey woah, I never said there was anything wrong with over-preparing, it’s good, it’s just not something to OVERSTRESS/ PANIC about unless you’re applying to a top 10 selective as your grades should come before studying for the Hast. I’ve seen people who did bad on the Hast still get accepted...
Well that applies to schools with the Edutest like Sydney girls, Baulkham, etc. I still stand with what I said, especially the HAST doesn’t matter when you’re applying to Y11, you can still do bad in it and get accepted. They judge based on grades more because a majority of ppl who apply...
Not true. My friends and others applied to selectives last year. They ofc judge your hast/edu scores but prioritise your grades more especially if you’re applying into year 11. Because your hast/edu isn’t a reflection of getting a good atar which is what selectives want. Those who get better...
Most are HAST or Edutest from what I know- but I can assure they judge you more based of your grades rather than or HAST/Edutest score so don’t stress over it. I personally, practiced with year 6 selective school practice questions bc they’re pretty similar in their wonkey premise in the sense...
Hahah mood omg. I moved to a selective school bc the resources at my reg public were so bad, and next door was literally one of Sydney’s most infamous boys priv schools. What makes it worse is that they’re not even grateful for their facilities, wdym you have a front yard larger than my school’s...
Hey I had some friends at these modest catholic schools that supported students with special needs and I still don’t think it holds merit. Like I get what you mean, but as these catholic schools actively avoid students with ACTUAL disabilities and special needs— usually only giving scholarships...
No exactly, I def agree with this. The only private schools I can understand, deserving funding r those located in rural/regional communities especially ones that serve as boarding schools for families who don’t have close access to education. However a majority of the private schools which r...
No like literally. The only good argument I’ve ever heard were boarding schools for kids located rurally ( who literally have no access to education). Majority of the private schools ranked top 100 in the state do not deserve that funding. Especially ones like shore, grammar, reddam, as you’ve...
Independent schools get more funding on average than public schools in order to “ EAsE the StRAin” with your average private school kid receiving $6000+ more than ur average public school kid in GOVERNMENT FUNDING ( not including the indepdent pay checks). That money could easily be directed...
i saw a “ casual“ story from a top private school, and the photo of their table area literally looks like that “ society if” meme. Like i genuinely can’t think of a reason these private schools deserve funding, like wdym “ educational DiVERsiTy 🤓🥴” Bich, ya’ll know damn well that half the kids...
I would not recommend doing arts ( history) if you don’t want to be teacher. Every person I know who’s taken that degree has become a teacher. You could try to enter other fields with that degree but you might as well do a different degree then. It sucks bc history is interesting, but there just...
