  • 100's not too small, my year has maybe 160-170. We had lots of people drop out once they turned 17 lol. School is over a 1000 though, the yr 11 cohort is intensively huge cause we got tonnes of transfers.
I think His Ext could have been a good subject, but just too many units and the way it ran at my school. (It was two afternnons a week ick till late, they revamped it so it was only one lol). Eco I had a traumatizing Yr 11 experience (omg we didn't actually learn the prelim course, but it was kinda hilarious some of the things went on), but yeah I felt so bad when I had to get the forms signed cause the teacher taking over in Year 12 was a really gung ho young teacher who is super passionate and nice (he even made junior geo fun lol)...And it was like "It's not you Sir, it's Economics" lol And head teacher of Social Science is my mentor so he was cut.

My school is biggish despite being rural, but eco only just ran really, half the class dropped after yr 11 heh I almost ended up doing French instead of Eco, that could have been interesting :p
    Yes I am 2012 HSC.
Lol at my replies being evidence to your maths teachers :p You have no idea how hard it was to drop His Ext at my school (hate history my gosh, like you encouraged to do it cause I was good at it). Economics they were nicea bout but practically crying (I love the social science faculty at my school <3 Wish I dropped modern instead).
No problem, I hope it all goes well for you for HSC :)
Though good luck though, I suspect your math teachers will put up a fight for you dropping heh.(Dropping any subject is ahrd if you're a good student in it, they won't want to let you leave!)
