You are allowed to star in your own movie but you have to remember that if you do so, you're losing the ability to direct your actors as such and it will take a lot longer to set up your shots, get in the shot and then shoot instead of just being behind the camera and instructing everyone...

Place great emphasis on the word decent. It is going to be very hard to crack into the 90s with those subjects but I assume if you're doing those subjects, then realistically you don't have much of a chance regardless. No offence.

NO! They just test some of the knowledge from Year 11 but all the subjects start off clean from the beginning of year 12.
