hi jimmy, im in my subject selection period rn and i was wondering how was ur experience with eng standard if you dont mind sharing bc im having a hard time deciding between standard or adv. ive been told that im in the middle of both courses so any advice would be appreciated.
im doing it next year for leisure and i guess for myself bc i personally rlly like the subjects and sewing in general lol, i think ill treating it as an easier subject bc im planning to drop it before year12 anyways but i think you should go for it if you enjoy it and have units for it
true true, would you say that its possible to do well as long as i put in the effort and work even in a not so strong relatively weak cohort in standard just as a backup? tysm for the advice tho

yea, rn im looking at articles and trying to read some band 6 essays and see if i understand and trying to put my current marks in to estimate if i will get the scaling benefit, im just worried that i will be overwhelmed by the workload for adv and end up feeling discouraged seeing other ppl's...
I heard that getting a band 6 in standard is pretty much impossible so im tempted to just try advanced and all my teachers make the literature analysing part and writing fluidity for advanced challenging and like strenuous which idk if its true but ty for the help anyways
