  • It's easier than I expected tbh. Writing comprehensive notes for the syllabus can be a bitch, though it's basically all you need to remember for the multiple choice and short answers. I've reached the point where I can answer 98% of past marketing multiple choice and short answers correctly.
I'll give you my marketing notes once I've perfected them. (our Term 4 topic). Then I'll give you the rest in the times following. Only through PM though because I don't want people in my year taking them :L. You can do anything you want after 2012 HSC but plz don't distribute until then.
Oh yeah I saw, and yeah they should be top 20. Last year, they flew to Canberra I think and won the national Maths and Engineering Competition, so yeah, they're very smart. But yeah, as for Hurlstone, I'm surprised they took out most of the state ranks for Ag. As for Macfields... we're still out of the top 100, which is kind of sad, you know. But whatever, the highest we'll reach is probably in the 90s anyway :L
umm yeah he gave it back to me. Tbh I'm soooo disappointed LOL It's because I did integration at PEAK so my mark may be good to you :L what did you get?
Yeah yeah yeah, you seem like an Actuarial person. Can't come X-mas cos my parents think I'm going to die :'( & My holidays will be filled with fun, since my tutor teacher said it's the last 'fun' one. So it's no doing work! Except studying for Dr Truong test -__- What bout you?
Dont worry, my results are worser than yours.'
    English 80
    Maths 96
    Science 85
    Geography 91
    History 86
    Computing 98

Im already considered a student somewhere in the top 30 at least. However, practically, no-one cares and gives a .... about the sc, no one studied one bit. So yea, judging from your results, your definitely in the top third for sure, might even be better than me :).
Haha, nah, I realised I'm not that smart. For one of the tests, I was placed at the bottom 25% of the people doing the test, so I'm no where as intelligent as they are. Which reminds me, I think I'm going to fail UMAT since the questions were similar. Anyway, plus, I think we have one of the strongest year groups ever, since everyone's doing accelerated everything.
And as for languages, I always come first for some reason, so it comes natural to me. Also gives me an excuse to watch anime :L And if I do well, I might keep it. But then again, I wanna take up 4U Maths and English so I dunno :S I can't handle 14 units, so I might drop either Jap or English Extensions or both :/
Hey! Dw, you got higher than me for half the subjects, so it's all good =) You've probably already seen my results, but compared to Frank's mine is like crap. He got like 93 in English, 100 in computer skills and 95+ for the rest. Pure genius :')
Yea, yr 10s arent allowed in beginners and most of them are already in concert band anyways.
Well, it all really depends on the level of music they give you, when you said your not grade 5 or 6, are u better than that or worse than that? Either way, they will still accept you into one of our bands if you can play.
Im pretty sure the music is sight-readable at first glance as they are chosen for quick song/piece mastery. Oh yea i forgot to tell you, strings ensemble (my one) also has guitarists and intermediate and concert usually has bass guitarist, so if you're not a bass player, strings might be a better option for you. The level in our band is around grade 5 - 6 ish so if you dont do grades, ask your friends about that level so you can have an idea. If you're bass, playing in intermediate or concert band, its all just simple sustained chords so nothing complicated to worry about.
Well, all bands have to perform but if you dont want to perform all you have to do is to ask the music instructor. People usually go to the music teachers during lunch and recess and before school, but if you talking about band rehearsals then its always afterschool.
Yea im part of the sths strings ensembles. As for you, i think the intermediate band is better for you rather than beginners band (filled with yr 7s and 8s). All you have to do is talk to a music coordinator and he will see what level and experience you have and will quickly assign you to a band.
O heh well no problem. Whatever you feel is best :) For me, ag isn't a problem, because i have 10 other units for HSC, I will try in ag but not kill myself over it. My other subjects are the ones I will devote myself to most.
