  • Haha sorry my damn inbox filled up again and I need to filter out the unimportant messages....getting harder to delete stuff now lol.

Okay a shit stirred is not literally someone who stirs shit....its just someone who acts as a bit of a smart ass...well that's my definition anyway :)
Hey did you try pming me yesterday? I got an email saying that you were but that might just be my email going crazy again.

Why each molecular cell bio in med. It is...perhaps the most irrelevant thing ever. Doctor is never going to know all the functions of proteins/inter-actions etc. That's for scientists. I think as long as you know membrane shit, major signalling pathways, major metabolic pathways you're pretty much set.

Yeah sounds about similar. We do a few placements in first sem and so forth.

    Speaking of which

    worst

    topic

    ever

HISTOLOGY (i have a lab exam on human tissue histology...well part 2 of one.)

    so much wasted time

    btw

how does your preclinical work? You guys do 2 years yeah? What does the final year have? More clinical rotations.

AFAIK it seems graduate courses have more time spent on preclinical (i.e. longer semesters with no midsem break), but then overall, less time on clinical. Interesting.

    also: halp me choose electives.
I have the option of the following (i got rid of the boring ones like molecular cell bio, wtf so gross):
    cardiovascular science
    neuroscience
    advanced pathophysiology

I think pathiphysiology would be best, I'm worried other two will be far too scientific.

Thanks for asking ahah. Yeah man, I'm feeling much much better. It just took time getting used to things, but everything is going up. I'm sor...very very glad I'm just doing medsci atm. I am overloading subs obv, but workload is less than med, and this will all help in grad med anyway. Giving me time to get used to Qld. Nice place. How about you? Liking the course, uni, people etc?
