  • he's in the drama- it started with a kiss (taiwan drama)...i think him, guy in my girl and Stairway of heaven are like my 3 fav drama actors.lol
Namu! I didn't manage to find you at the UNSW open day =(. Maybe next time we'll meet up.
And I owe you a rep =). Cheers man.
Pretty sure you will ace it anyway.:)
I am alright at maths, it's just that i am bad at numbers...literally. I make countless calculation errors, so i dont think actuarial studies will work for me XD
idk, probably mechatronics or electronics...or civil, just to make that female:male ratio slightly higher, lol.
    I'm so indecisive :(
:D given how good you are at maths (from what ive heard on this site), it will be epic! ^_^
    =) Thought I'd say hi!
You are going to do B. Sci- Maths right? Hmm, I was considering that but i fear i am not mathematically talented enough. XD
nice to have seen you too namu.
It was a good day - as you could see, I already had a fair amount of freebies within the first hour. How was your day?
Yea, there's heaps of other job opportunities e.g. working in banking industry and much more:
School of Mathematics and Statistics - Careers

The government, beginning of this year, also slashed the HECS debt off maths courses - $10,000 discount for maths, science degrees under HECS changes | The Australian

So we are basically paying the half the cost as it was used to be. Win-win situation imo.
    1. Under comm/sci degree you can only have one major in commerce. For science if you're gonna do maths, it is actually possible to double major in maths/stats under a specified plan. Otherwise, its also only one major in science (e.g. computer science).
You might be interested in taking a look at: School of Mathematics and Statistics - With Actuarial Studies which has all the details for the actl/math plan.

    2. Nah, there wont be any physics related stuff in the math courses. There are actually specially designed math courses (MATH1151 and MATH1251) for actl and finance students in 1st year. The comm/sci course is actually very flexible, its one of the main reason i chose it.

    3. I guess maths helps u to think more abstractly and improves your understanding in the derivation & underlying principles of models for actuarial applications (well that's what i've been told).
    :D healthy peer pressure.
umm i have a URL..just put jaylee42003 at the end of it..or search that even :)
yeah rlly lol. i tell no lies. spoke to him on the fone this arvo to confirm and it's all good! :)
now all i need is for tomorrow to come.

    hahaha, im sooooo watching that.
