  • Yuss... and I believe only the third person in history of my school to do so. The first to apply and also be successful in getting into a Distinction course, which will no longer be available after this year.
dragonmaster, I am disappointed in you.. :p why did you change your ATAR aim? with your ranks and marks, you should be aiming for 99+
Ah well, acceleration is extremely difficult (they way I did it at least) anyway. The Philosophy course is rather interesting though - and I get to take my first plane trip (and also I'll be alone on my first plane trip YES!)... evar!
My school didn't either. I asked to accelerate and the school initiated it with me. Long process to begin...
When I first saw my results I thought I was doomed. I was extremely disappointed with my results and I'm also repeating 3U (because I know I can achieve around the lower-mid 90s) and I've done about 75 past papers and that is no joke... went through 600+ pages of paper and 7 pens.

But, yes, I did get in and I'm very glad I did... I love the course. Also, the course application requires a principal's recommendation in which I believe mine spoke extremely high of me + a breakdown of preliminary results (which I achieved dux of Year 11 with numerous 1sts) so I believe the preliminary track record was quite significant in my application along with the actual results.

    I don't suppose you applied?
Ah yes, quite observant of you.

LOL, advertising my book kind of defeats the purpose of my identity on this site.
