  • Yea, I know. I was told by friends. I'd read it when the time comes. :)

    School starts..?
    Hmm, 'kay.

    It's good, thanks.
On holidays, at the moment. Gotta read "Great Expectations" by Charles Dickens by next week, and I cbb. :(

When does school start for you?
    You're welcome.

May I ask how you came to know about my acknowledgement?

Also, the statement is perhaps a well-known fact of BoS. :)
lol, which part of my sig? the secret bit or the bit on the right?
Finished it today. God it's depressing; though definitely a must read book. O'Brien is insane!!! They all are infact; though I do like how Orwell applies the ignorance of humanity to the society in the book, ie, how there is no way of actually knowing if there is any war, etc, etc. That's cool that you did it in school. I guess we'll be doing something similar; Farenheight (probably spelt that wrong) 451. It's nice that we are actually beginning to study interesting books for once in English, rather than crappy boringness. :D
    B
lol thanks for offering to be friends but there is no point. ill probably be banned in the next week or so
Yep. Well, they have now. Holidays began on the 2nd for me. And I'm very glad it is the holidays; time to actually go over my chem and physics work, and the extensions. And RELAX!!!! I'm reading 1984 by George Orwell right now btw, and it is such a great work. It incorporates so much Marxism, and it's really interesting seeing what could be seen as a prognostication of the century to come from the point of veiw of someone from the 1940's. It's unnerving seeing the similarities between his dystopia and what actually eventuated in the 20th century. It is really a very political peice. I haven't finished it yet so don't give anything away if you have read it already. If not, I suggest you do. It's quite short really.

(I didn't get much into William James' dissertation, but oh well. lol) :D
