  • Feeling a bit better :D
Here something that will make you lol : My chem teacher said 90+% of the grade only got 1 mark for the battery question at the start of the test :O
    Yeah Eddy currents one.
I talked about Eddy Currents, how they would have affected Westinghouse, how we have fixed that problem and how we now use Eddy currents to our advantage- I dont think that validates 8 marks -_-
Went alrite. Barely touched the last A.P question-all i did was draw a flow diagram showing the stars life -_-.
M.C was a bit tricky, also unsure whether i will get full marks for the Westinghouse question.

    Hopefully i should get above 80 (Y)
    How was it for you?
Yeah, tbh it depends on the individual and from what i can tell u should manage to ace the hsc
Yeah it was MUCH harder than expected, tbh i found it harder than last years James Ruse paper. Hopefully i gain some ranking cos i went into a tail spin after the half yearlies.
For physics i know most of the dotpoints, not to the extent you do...
I focused on Astro in the hols but still screwed FML
I go to a school in prestons ranked around 130. Our marks are really good for maths, and pretty good for everything else-Being in a small cohort helps!
    What bout you?
oh thanks :D lol let's hope so! is it really? never knew that lol... yes it's awesome! I love languages! I might take up spanish :) lol
oh ok...thanks for the reply. my school doesn't use CSSA for chem, physics, maths and ancient for some reason.. and i am eager to know what popped in the paper... Looking through the thread on CSSA chem it makes me understand it was a difficult paper! was it harder than the hsc paper?

and what experiment did they ask for and would you remember any challenging questions?

    thanks
yeah I'd love to get into Macquarie, hopefully I do :/ and I'd like to do a double degree, I'm set on doing international studies but have no idea what to combine it with , maybe bachelor of communication... lol don't really know :/
oh awesome! lol... oh even more awesome! lo, well I'm unsure, it all deprends on my atar... if I'm able to get into Macquarie then I'll be ecstatic but if I don't then Im might go to university of wollongong. I'm heaps keen on macquarie though! :)
Yeah we had an assessment which forced us to study the higher dotpoints :/
Im gonna go over all the dotpoints today and gonna try and do 2 CSSA and 1 independent paper.
Ive done 3 independent so far, only some of the multiple choice is a bit challenging.
Doing Astrophysics-HATE IT! Lucky we had an assessment that required us to know all the 7 markers last week.
So are you set with physics or are there other things that you have to go over?
Oh no I didn't mean it in that way but yeah it's true :) haha hopefully it works out for me! lol um haha nope, a few people think I look filo but no I'm not lol, I'm mauritian :)
haha everyone on here does high-scaling subjects and here I am with my crappy basic subjects lol.
oh awesome, um caroline chisholm college in penrith :)
oh sorry haha um french continuers, maths, eng stndrd, cafs, pdhpe and sor1 :)
and I'm in yr 12 :) yourself? what school do you go to?
