  • Omg ikr!! And yeah, that sounds alright actually! I had to bs as well since my preparation was based on the beginning and middle of the play. I talked about how he progressed from being inactive/caught up in his moral dilemma to accepting his fate/death/destiny + enactment of revenge etc. Also, about Horatio at the end (telling Fortinbras the story) which reflects Hamlet's continual trust/reliance in him throughout the entire play (vs. R&G and their lack of presence in the closing scenes since they were killed off LOL = major bs)

I had no idea what to say lol about what that actually means to me, so I just said yeah Shakespeare imparts upon us the necessity of courage and friendship. It was really gay. Your method was cool too, since it was asking for our personal judgement so I guess we could've concluded either way whether we thought Hamlet was corrupt or not~
Yeah :( It'll be alright if your body/techniques etc. are good tho + sophisticated. Only be worried if you have some shit to mediocre essay prepared lol. Good luck!
Sorry I don't do that text but gl :) I heard from tutor though who was talking to someone else that technological/etc stuff was overdone and to find a more specific/better/original thesis.
umm i mention it in like on sentence, i say how in the establishing shot of bladerunner flames burn, highlighting the extent of environmental degradation-a legacy of advanced technology

hope this helps :D (doubt it does thought)
That is fine to talk about in the 'content' of your body paragraph, as it obv reflects a conflicting perspective, but you should make an overarching or general statement about conflicting perspectives in your thesis/first one or two body sentences. What does the fact that P + H present different perspectives show? Your last link to the question should also be relevant to the nature of conflicting perspectives, and not just the H/P rship.

Yes I think that's really important. There's so much to say on women in the play - you should prepare to be able to write a paragraph on it. You can say how patriarchy is an oppressive influence and Hamlet acts like a misogynistic male. Ophelia - flowers, music and water are her symbols
yes they are broad themes, though I think you should also have something prepared specifically for characters and their relationships - you already know alot through the action vs inaction and deception themes, but being able to make a paragraph on love/loyalty for a range of characters (not just Hamlet) will cover all your bases. Consider the women of the play especially.
