  • nice! sounds like a good career path! :) umm I want to go in the health science field, so either SCRAPE into physiotherapy at uws other wise occupational therapy/speech therapy at usyd :)
very nice! you did fantastically! :) and 89 in standard!! SO CLOSE! :) although, i still consider that as you smashing it!
and i did well as well, 92.7 overall :) 89 in english as well, but advanced, so I'm happy :)
I thought I did really badly, writing some of my worst essays and my worst creative and my short answers were atrocious, but I guess the markers liked what I wrote because I got 86 in the exam which was the top in our school and I got 83 overall.
    Wbu?
Hey congrats on your 97 in Ancient . I got 97 as well! All that time spent pays off. Wonder how close we were to state ranks?

And I was surprised by my Eco as well, made me miss out on the all rounders list (by two marks)
Congratz man, just saw your marks on the official thread. 89 in standard and 97 in ancient history is definitely something to be proud of - you could possibly state rank in ancient and you would probably be in the top 150 for standard. What happened in economics though, I though for sure you would get a band 6 there. However, you should be on track to get 90+ ATAR with those marks - I reakon 90-92 is a pretty safe bet.

I see you couldnt wait until the ATARs came out before looking at your results - its too hard to resist
Haha thats awesome! Heard the internet is epic fast in Korea! :p. I'm bludging and doing absolutely nothing but watching movies and tv shows lol. I'm looking forward for the HSC results actually! Well hope you have an amazing time in Seoul! Catch ya later!
Like I said on a thread a few months ago, the three week period that you do your exams goes way faster then any three week period in the holidays. Using an ATAR calculator will give you a really good idea as to what you will get (they are usually correct to within 1.5 ATAR points, for me they were correct to 0.3-0.4 points). If you do poorly, then your internal ranks can only save you if your year does well. If they dont, the internal ranks probably wont do much to save you.

Look, if you worked your best for the HSC, then there is nothing else you can do. I told my parents after my last exam that it was my best effort (which is true), and whatever my results were thats the best I could do. So go over your efforts and be realistic (you can only do so much) - if they are your best then there is nothing else you could really have done.
It takes a few weeks to get used to the idea of bludging and doing nothing after all that study - its hard to know what to do with yourself. The HSC marks come out on the 14th and the ATAR is a day later. So really for most the panic starts to set in around the 11th. Once you get the marks, you should have a good idea of what ATAR you will get (i.e. ATAR calculators) so that takes a lot of the uncertainty out of it.
Hey, good to hear that your HSC went ok - still stick to your number one option because you never know how well you will do. I cant believe life after the HSC sucks for you, for me it was the best ever - it felt so good to be bored and not tied down with work or study (for a few weeks after the HSC, I still had the feeling like I needed to do something). As for uni and exams they are going orite, my last exam is tommorow so I'm pumped for the holidays. Good luck with your results.
Aww, im sure you'll do well! and yes, ur rank shall suffice!! :D

4 days left and i could be as calm as you are, my friend!! i shall let you know how i go... but modern history's killing my life at the moment, although im hopefully prepared for legal studies =D

do u still have the same atar expectations now that everything is over?
