Inquiry question: Should society continue utilising preimplantation genetic testing to identify Myotonic muscular dystrophy (DM1) in embryos?
Ik that for our year (2024) everyone who has done biology will probably have already done their depth studies but hopefully it helps out my friends graduating in 2025 because the depth study was lowkey a headache
I got a 30/30 for this assignment, this report was a requirement in my assessment which also included a speech and presentation. Hopefully it can help some other people who need help/inspiration regarding their depth study assignments. I basically used all the information and images in this report in my presentation but privately PM me if you want the transcript/slides as well. I mostly focused on the social aspects and future implications in my report to sorta avoid having to yap about the complicated stuff regarding the disease and hypothetical technology use lol
