From what I've seen it's still pretty hard. A lot of these department stores are open while you're at school and close a lot earlier than fast food stores or stores like Kmart/woolies. If you haven't completed the hsc yet they'll probably see that as a deal breaker since you have very limited...

Depends on your style of study. Do you get burnt out doing the same thing over and over? Then don't start too early, instead start 3-4 months before your exam. I'd say start familiarising yourself with the exam style early next year. Then you can slowly focus on specific sections and time...
