Is it easy to get an atar of 68?

yes we got penalised like hell on depth studies and favoured some guy who barely put any effort to his depth study bc he was his "mate"... LOL. ofc he gave me top mark bc if he didnt it would seem extremely sus but my friend here got dogged even tho his proj was similar quality.

Is it easy to get an atar of 68?

he didnt do bad in internals, he was actually on par with me, like he would miss by 3-5 marks, but having a teacher biased against u and other ppl who suck off teachers doesnt really help

Is it easy to get an atar of 68?

thats why the golden rule is to be rank 1 internals, he was a science guy but bc he wasnt rank 1 internal pulled him down badly. this only applies for the low ranking schools, most of u wont understand. never understood why internal rank 1 matter soooo muchhh before but experience is the...

Is it easy to get an atar of 68?

story of my comprehensive friend's HSC > friend lowkey good at phys > shitty cohort bc early entry mfs > gets higher ext mark than his selective friends > bc he fkd up internals misses out on b6

Is it easy to get an atar of 68?

no most students dont give a fk, half the students in my grade would prolly skip their HSC for free prime flavoured vapes back then

Is it easy to get an atar of 68?

considering if you go on BOS I'd say you're more than capable of doing above average
  7. E

Is it easy to get an atar of 68?

If I recall, the average ATAR is 70... unless you have some mental handicap or some unfortunate circumstances it'll be pretty surprising if you get less than that

    Dropping HSC Courses

pre sure there should be an option to GIVEN you have 10 units remaining. I've seen people drop in the last min from my school, idk the process though since i dropped everything to 10 in my first hsc term lmao.

BoS Trials Maths, Physics and Business Studies 2023

Fax u were 1 mark away from state ranking

Starting HSC Mathematics Advanced and Extension

most topics are continued on into the HSC year e.g calculus, trig so technically you'll already be re-applying year 11 knowledge but in more depth so you wouldn't really need to crack up your yr 11 cambridge trig chapter for revision haha. The only one I'd pay attention to study is...

    Atar prediction please

Oh and the UAC atar compass was acc pretty good at predicting ATARs for my schoolmates, it was accurate to +- 0.5 iirc when i checked. Literally will be a year before in a couple of months

    Atar prediction please

I forgot the mechanism so @jimmysmith560 or some cracked ATAR theorist/analyst who spent their past life devoted to ATAR theory lol can explain it in detail but I saw it in effect for my internal vs external mark being top 1 in all my HSC subjects. Basically, if you're #1, you get the highest...

    Subject Selection Dilemma

It'll be more helpful to also know your goals. - What industry are you planning to go in (Medicine, IT, engineering...)? - What is your ATAR goal - What do you want to do in the HSC (Any commitments such as jobs, extra-currics) - How do you want your HSC to be? (Are you the type of person to...

    hsc

Don't waste your time worrying about preparation, just simply do it, try completing math standard HSC papers ideally as much as you can. Just try to attempt as much questions as you can and then go to the solutions and try understanding how the marker's reasoning and logic, so you can implement...

    EXT 2

I've heard stories of teachers doing that personally and on BOS. For most teachers, given you show some enthusiasm/interest you should be fine however in some schools or for some teachers, you might need to demonstrate a level of competence in the form of being top X in Ext 1+adv or achieving...

    Atar prediction please

No need ATAR prediction, pray to god. On a serious note; As long as you're near to the top rank, that means you have the most control on your marks. You should be fine if you have done a UNSW early entry or some program which lowers your ATAR requirements. You can definitely do a 80+.

How much more effort is required in ext 2 maths compared to ext 1?

Second part to this ignoring the maths: Our parents may be different culturally but most likely they both had high expectations. My mother whilst expecting me to do the best possible would trust me to be independent, however this came as a result of me doing well in my cohort. Even when I had...

How much more effort is required in ext 2 maths compared to ext 1?

Everyone's different. Extension 2 **generally** is a challenge for most students' in embracing the nature of the course in that it demands perseverance in learning and accepting that simple grind =/ 100%. You do not need to be a math prodigy or "cracked" to do well in the course, and you will...

Format for Mathematical Induction proofs <3

Just use whatever method your school makes you do since it'll flow naturally for you in the HSC. There shouldn't be too much issues given you get the general gist of induction (base e.g P(1), assumption step e.g P(k), P(k+1) step, acknowledge how P(k) -> P(k+1) makes statement true) since...

UNSW Math/Comp & Related Course Reviews

ive seen plenty of girls in math/cs/phys, times are changing but it is still heavily male dominated. if you're like me this doesn't matter because you're not interested in travelling 4 hrs a day in hopes to speak to someone in a hall of 400 people. is it competitive? the most competitive people...
