Urgent legit mindblanked and it's annoying

Thats not RCR tho - you have to use product to sums then just integrate the vanilla trig functions you get out of it

ASAP y does adding more magnets to drop down a copper tube reduce the time it takes for it to drop

@ekjchale#1 Doesn't the person say the same thing lol as the reason? Like field lines counteract and weight force is also greater

ASAP y does adding more magnets to drop down a copper tube reduce the time it takes for it to drop

fair that makes sense --> the overall weight force should increase and hence the effect of the retarding force becomes less minimal..... so lower times

    Studying for ucat

Try reading the last paragraph (the concluding one) - these usually have the main purpose and stuff along with what the author personally believes. But this may not be the case all the times, but a useful trend to know nonetheless

ASAP y does adding more magnets to drop down a copper tube reduce the time it takes for it to drop

The magnets themselves could be attracting or repelling each other (repelling most likely?) which would provide an additional net force on top of the weight force. This would minimise the effect of the retarding force formed by the eddy currents?

How much do the difference between ranks matter?

is it fair to say they use z-scores?
  13. R

How much do the difference between ranks matter?

Fair. So their internal moderated mark will always remain lower by the exact amount as before moderated (raw school internals); i.e. if the raw internals were 5% lower, then the moderated would be 5% lower as well. Sorry if I am questioning a lot. Just quite confused about this lol. But thanks...

How much do the difference between ranks matter?

suppose the person ranked first gets 94 in the externals which is the highest for that cohort. And also lets say the person ranked second gets 93, which is the second highest mark. How will this play out Jimmy @jimmysmith560? Thanks in advance...
  15. R

How much do the difference between ranks matter?

Suppose the person ranked first is around 5% ahead of the second person in terms of marks. How will that affect the moderated internal mark for the second person? If the person ranked second does really well in the externals (like gets a mark equivalent or close to that of the first person)...
