If the teachers at your school aren't the best, I dare say more detailed would be better than a brief overview. I have seen Talents notes and they are VERY brief and sometimes don't even appear to address some dot points. Based on this, I would recommend Matrix. Orrrrrrrrrrr...

IMO - PiF is good to begin with, but I don't think really extends enough on some dot points to give an 'extensive' understanding, sometimes not even a 'thorough' understanding. I personally find In2Physics gives more complete understanding -- goes beyond the syllabus in some key areas...
