Practically of using an iPad in class?

I think an ipad could be useful for looking at digital textbooks in class if you aren't bothered bringing the actual book. If you can't use a USB you could always just email the files to yourself and open it there. Otherwise I find typing on them really annoying without a keyboard so it might...

    economics allnighter crew

I'd say learn a bit of everything so you can answer most questions? This might help http://leadingedge.com.au/statistics/ Aust has a narrow export base so the value of our currency can be volatile as it's kinda linked to commodity prices which are volatile especially in times of a downturn...

General Thoughts: English Advanced Paper 2

The Hamlet question was pretty tricky for me because my prepared was on corruption but not much on time/place :( Mod A and C were pretty decent questions though so that was a relief. Need to bandaid my fingers now lol

    Section 1 - Stimulus

I thought the poem was really weird but all the other texts were pretty good! I used text 3 and 4

General Thoughts: English Paper 1 (AOS)

I wrote 9 pages for essay too and had to cut out some stuff cos I needed to do creative. I wish my creative was longer but I still managed to conclude it though.

How many hours of sleep a night are you HSC students getting? Share your experience.

Re: How many hours of sleep a night are you HSC students getting? Share your experien Normally I get around 6-7 hours of sleep but for assessments I usually sleep 8 hours. Probably travelling and I'm a bit slower at doing things in the morning

Dirty the Float and MP help!

Dirtying the float is limited to the size of the RBA's size of foreign currency holdings (which is less than one total day of transactions in the currency iirc) and it's generally only effective for a short period of time.

    UMAT thoughts and discussion

Omg yes that's how I first saw it until I reread it and realised. Wasn't sure what was gonna happen afterwards though so I probably got that one wrong

    Fourteen Units for the HSC?

I know quite a few people who originally started off with 13 but eventually dropped down to 11 or 12. Despite that it's still definitely possible to do 14 units but it just depends on if you would prefer to do less subjects and just spend more time on them. I think doing 11-12 units is a good...

    UMAT thoughts and discussion

I think I got there way too early so I just found friends/people and started talking to them to pass time. Lining up to the bathroom wasted sufficient time too lol I thought the game questions were easy? But I spent ages on the golden ratio and the butterfly question. The more I think about it...

"Because you're in Yr 12 and you have your HSC"

I think my parents are pretty chill in terms of letting me go out and stuff. Except they get a bit annoyed when I say I'm studying but then they see me during my "10 minute break" and they assume that I've been procrastinating the whole time.

    Game of Thrones

Once you get into it, you'll want to marathon the whole thing.

    Year 12 jersey names - 2013 - the best & the worst of 2013 - exclusive to bos!@#$%^&^

Re: Year 12 jersey names - 2013 - the best & the worst of 2013 - exclusive to bos!@#$ Mines just my first name because we weren't allowed last names which is retarded because I would've preferred my last name. It was also meant to come earlier but now it's been delayed sigh.

Minimum 1500 words in 40 minutes

1500 is achievable but it shouldn't be a minimum. I think writing between 900-1300 is a good range to be in depending on your writing speed. Just write how much you feel like would be enough to argue your points well

    Should I drop English Extension?

I found that english ext does help a bit for advanced but it isn't really that much help. In Year 12, the workload for ext increases quite a bit too but if you have a flair for english it shouldn't be that bad. I realised in Year 12 that I really didn't like the topic/subject that much so I...

What do you think is the hardest science?

I find physics is pretty hard but I haven't done it at the HSC level. It's probably because I don't have that much an interest in physics than biology or chemistry. The easiest to me is biology.

How would I start off tutoring?

I think you should advertise a bit (eg classifieds in newspapers, flyers etc) and if you want more experience you can try tutoring some younger family friends or relatives first so you get the hang of it and you'll know how to improve your teaching methods and such. The extra experience can also...
