I did my interview in the first round and I got a letter saying I received a conditional offer. Other than that, I haven't reveived any news about the scholarship. No calls about atar or HSC results haha

I did my trials in the last few weeks of term 1 and a study timetable was definitely useful in allocating sufficient time to study for each subject :)

How i usually structure my essays: Introduction: provide stance on question/topic, link to text(s), themes/concepts Body (separate paragraphs based on ideas, different paragraph for different ideas): thesis/topic sentence, explain, example/quote, link to question and next paragraph Conclusion...

You should explain your story a bit more but your examples follow a pattern similar to binary opposition, antithesis, juxtaposition etc So you should start by determining your key themes/concepts and work from there

Hello! Would like an estimate based on my semester 1 report. My rankings are: Eng Adv: 7/82 Eng Ext 1: 2/8 Eng Ext 2: 2/5 Maths Adv: 7/37 Maths Ext 1: 9/19 Business Studies: 6/49 IPT: 1/12 Assuming i maintain my rank and marks, would it be possible to achieve an atar above 90? Thanks! [emoji1]

You should stick to the syllabus because that's what you should be taught during class and what you'll be tested on in the HSC. I've used the three symbols for my DFD in my assignment and didn't lose any marks. However, you should ask your teacher to make sure just in case :)
